Women empowerment in India!

The situation of women from different Income groups

The status of #women in India has been subject to many great changes over the past few millennia. With a decline in their status from the ancient to medieval times, to the promotion of equal rights by many reformers, their history has been eventful.

Indian society is divided into economic levels according to the annual earning that a household gets to run his/her families. The situation of women is different according to this structure of economic classes.

High class society females

The females belongs to Indian high class society have exposure to almost everything that a male is getting. They are getting good education, good jobs, open to take decisions on their own, independent and growing with a good #development rate.

Middle class society females

The life of middle society females is a little rough as compared to the upper society. They get good education, schooling, degrees, living and learning environment but tend to have a comparison by family, society and relatives in terms of fair skin, good looks, education, earning, profession and lot more. Mostly decisions are taken by the parents/guardians related to education, marriages and choosing a profession.

Lower Income group females

This segment is most vulnerable section. The #females born in this group do not have the access to proper nutrition, vaccinations, education, care, marriages, profession etc. The females generally imposed to work as a child labor in houses, factories, small businesses etc. The education they generally get is average up-to 10th standard. They get married in the ages of 18-22 years of age. No dreams and no hopes because of their upbringing. They face the discrimination in their families as compared to the boys. Less opportunities is given to them to rise and shine and choosing a career. Only very brilliant girls made it to history to overcome these obstacles and developed themselves.

How the government is supporting the females?

The Indian government is supporting the females a lot by giving them equal rights as the men have. They gets the reservation in government jobs, railway reservations, special quota for females in army, navy and air-force. And some numerous efforts are below;

1. Free maternity services in government hospitals and special funds on the birth of a girl child

3. Special fixed deposit schemes for girls up-to maturity level

4. Women entrepreneur schemes

5. Various gifts and funds to brilliant girls talents

6. Other magnificent schemes at central and state level to encourage women empowerment in India
